You know what’s great about leasing your propane tank from Kimlin Energy? All that you don’t have to do!
You don’t need to pay upfront to purchase and install a propane tank. You don’t have to worry about your installation because our tank installers are trained, experienced, and committed to safety. You don’t have to worry about maintenance or repairs. Because that’s our job!
Still, we’re not with your tank all the time, so it’s good idea to periodically check it out.
Inspect your tank thoroughly for any signs of rust. Left unattended, rust could degrade your tank to the point of creating a leak. If you see rust, contact us and we’ll professionally clean and paint it. If you notice something doesn’t look right on your propane tank, we’ll come out and fix it. Remember, these maintenance and repairs are our responsibility.
No, you don’t have to get out a bucket of soapy water and a sponge. This is about cleaning up around your propane tank. First, make sure the path from your driveway to your propane tank is cleared of obstacles and is at least a foot wide. If we can’t safely get to your propane tank, we may not be able to deliver your propane. Also, move any woodpiles or other combustibles away from the tank and clear any branches or other debris. Your driveway also needs to be safely accessible for our delivery truck. Trim shrubs and branches around the driveway so they don’t damage our trucks.
Your propane tank may not be the only one on your property. You likely also have propane cylinders for your BBQ grill, fire pit, deck or patio heaters, and portable generator. We have some tips for safely using them in summer, and all year-round.
